The Dylan Thomas Birthplace
Stay at Dylan’s
Stay at Dylan’s
There are very few literary houses where you can stay overnight and experience the exclusive lifestyle of a famous literary figure. The chance to stay in the house where Dylan Thomas was born and spent his formative years will be a unique and long-lasting experience.
The house can sleep up to 7 guests. When you book to stay you are booking the whole house not just a room. So regardless of the number of guests in your group you will have exclusive access to the whole house. No rooms are out of bounds. In addition to Dylan’s simple bedroom, which has been described as the first World Literary Heritage Site in Wales, there are 2 double bedrooms and a twin bedded room. On the ground floor are 3 reception rooms and a kitchen. There is a garden to the rear of the house.
The house has retro Edwardian décor that includes a phonogram, books, newspapers of the day, and games. No TV but we do have free and fast Wi-Fi!
A house tour is included in your stay and is given on arrival or by arrangement. Swansea City Centre is 1 mile away, glorious Gower beaches are just 5 miles away. Cwmdonkin Park is a short walk from the house. Themed Afternoon Teas, Edwardian Dinners & Dylan Tours are available to book in advance.
